Effect Of Stress On Health
Allow Fear & Worry No More!

Article

What is the effect of stress on health? If you're enduring a great deal of stress on a day to day basis, then you're putting your health – and possibly your life – at risk!

Stress in no way positively affects your health. While some mis-identify stress as a natural prompting to motivate you to complete a project or do something else productive, for the most part stress adds very little to your life.

Certainly if you've lost a loved one or are going through a divorce or are going on a job interview, you should expect – as a normal human being does – to feel some level of stress.

But prolonged stress is a warning sign and if you see the effect of stress on health, then that probably means that you did not see the warning at an earlier stage.

Sometimes our emotional and physical wellbeing appears to be out of our control and we suffer as a result of outside circumstances. But hopefully this is the case only temporarily.

If we continue to allow stress into our lives regularly, then the effect of stress on health is to be expected.

Instead, why not change your life and improve your health?

So what are these effects of stress on health? Stress can lead to mild physical ailments like a headache or back pain. It can also disrupt our sleeping and eating habits – which has other negative effects that go along with it.

As well, because stress wears down on our immune systems, it can make us fall ill more frequently.

But the most devastating effect of stress on health is heart attack and other cardiovascular problems – as stress increases a person's heart rate.

Do you want to address this issue proactively? Looking for some literature to help you unwind after hard day's work or perhaps learn to rethink the way you approach your daily endeavors?

Why not read the many inspirational books by Dr. Orison Swett Marden? Dr. Marden was one of the first self-help authors in America. In fact, the term “self-help author” hadn't really been in use during the time he was writing his famous books.

Marden’s classic books, like “The Exceptional Employee,” help ordinary people – especially the hard workers among them – to strive to be more than just ordinary and instead blissfully follow their dreams.

Every book Marden wrote is filled with quotes that you can find a great deal of motivation from on a daily basis. Dr. Marden's books might be just what you need, that daily dose of uplift and inspiration, to get you to view your work environment in a more positive way.

If you'd like to get a more convenient introduction to Dr. Marden, the Leadership Series For Successful Livingoffers five of his most impressive works online for audio download!
