Employee Training Methods
The Golden Rule & Self Help Tools

Article

Are you on the hunt for effective employee training methods? It's a good thing if you are.

Too often, employers get so easily fed up with a poor workforce, that they rehire, or even worse – they simply settle for less and spend their time, effort and money on other parts of their company.

However, it's the people that make up a company that will determine if it is a success or a failure.

So, if you want to promote maximum efficiency, you must think about things from the inside out. That means you must start with your employees!

Fortunately, there is a variety of useful employee training methods that you can put to work to ensure that your company functions as competitively and productively as possible.

There are the typical workshops and seminars that you can send staff members to, as well as online training programs. However, there are specific things you can do yourself, as a leader, to inspire them to do good work.

Employee training methods are actually quite similar to character building exercises.

The Golden Rule, in other words, is really on your side if you want to improve your business. At least this is what Dr. Orison Swett Marden believed.

Dr. Marden was the first self-help author in America, who before his writing career achieved great success in business. He believed that selfishness was what contributed to a person's unpopularity and thus, lack of success in life.

After all, an attractive personality can compensate for all kinds of weakness in any arena in life! Think about the greatest leaders and businesspeople of our time. Were they always those with the highest IQ's, the greatest initial wealth, or the most talent?

Nope, in fact typically they were not – Dr. Marden realized this and asserted that this fact was one that every ordinary individual could find great inspiration in.

In his enlightening classic “Masterful Personality,” Dr. Marden urged readers to be interested in others in order to be liked by them.

This same principle is integral to the best employee training methods.

When talking about employee training methods, it's important that people are able to work together, cooperate with each other toward end goals, and feed off of each other's creativity and ideas.

Thus, a happy social environment must be fostered! If you want to learn more tips like these, check out Dr. Marden's other books in a convenient, easy to download audio format online with the Leadership Series For Successful Living.
