Have you ever taken a leadership quiz? Whether you are a leader or you want to be a leader, or perhaps you don't think you could ever be a leader, it's important to find out what positive leadership qualities you possess so that you can properly utilize them.
Dr. Orison Swett Marden, author of such inspiring self-help books as “Success Under Difficulties” and “Thrift,” was a prominent voice for the downtrodden. He believed in even the most ordinary man's ability to achieve greatness. One of his central themes in his many books was that there was a leader inside all of us. We too often choose to follow others – but we aren't destined to that fate. Some possess more natural leadership abilities early on, but anyone can improve their effectiveness in this area. The world holds little purpose for people who simply carry out the orders of others. If we can all learn to inspire those around us and motivate ourselves to accomplish of our most ambitious goals, then we will be happier and live a more fulfilling life. So, take the following leadership quiz and find out if you respond to situations the right way or if you are ignoring opportunities to shine. A short leadership quiz:
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then the leadership quiz has determined that you are not yet the confident leader you can be. But the truth is a good leader is confident and inspires confidence in others and is not afraid to speak his or own mind and dance to the beat of his or her own drum. Remember that you are unique and you may have assets that others don't have or on that same note, there are assets others have that you don't have. If you can just keep in mind that you are indeed different than others and that is a strength – not a weakness – you can learn to tap into this and realize you have something different and valuable to offer the world.
